Light roasted for clarity and sweetness, it leads with apricot and stone-fruit sweetness, pops with mandarin brightness, and lifts into a distinctive sweet tea character—then lingers with a juicy, velvety texture. This lot earned its place in Apex as the highest-scoring coffee we tasted at the Congo cupping , and it went on to become Best of Congo 2025 (88.25) . Majirane Coffee is a young cooperative founded in 2020 with 854 members—majority women —building quality and opportunity in an underrepresented origin.
